How Are We Different?
At Bison Law Firm, we understand that a personal injury is more than a legal case — it is a life-changing event. That is why we approach every client relationship with genuine empathy and a commitment to understanding the full impact of their injuries on their lives and families.
Communication is the foundation of everything we do. We believe you should never have to wonder about the status of your case. Our team provides regular updates, answers your questions promptly, and makes sure you understand every step of the legal process.
We are proud to be part of the Oklahoma City community. Our attorneys live and work here. We see our clients at the grocery store, at local events, and in our neighborhoods. That personal connection drives us to fight harder and deliver better results for the people we serve.
With more than 100 years of experience, we have the knowledge and resources to take on the largest insurance companies and corporations. But we have never lost sight of what matters most: the people we represent and the justice they deserve.

Mark Van Paasschen
Attorney
Mark Van Paasschen is a personal injury attorney at Bison Law Firm, representing injured Oklahomans in cases involving auto and trucking collisions, products liability, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. He handles all cases on a contingency-fee basis and is licensed in both Oklahoma and Texas state and federal courts. His appellate work includes Wiley v. Gray Television (Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, 2023).

Mark is a member of the Robert J. Turner Inn of Court and Crossings Community Church.
